The Eurasia Foundation is a privately managed grant-making and operating organisation dedicated to funding programs that build democratic and free market institutions in the twelve New Independent States (NIS) of the former Soviet Union. In Kazakhstan, the EF’s programs focus on strengthening local communities and finding partner foundations throughout the area.
