Established in 1992, the Global Jewish Assistance and Relief Network (GJARN) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing non-sectarian humanitarian assistance and medical relief primarily focusing in Russia and Ukraine and also operating in Israel and New York. GJARN aims to provide immediate relief with food, clothing and pharmaceuticals, to improve primary medical care and health conditions and to promote the development of civil society. GJARN is commitmented to relieving the pain and suffering of people, most especially in remote areas where aid is scarce or often non-existent.
