Russian Orphan Opportunity Fund (ROOF), an NGO founded in 1997 that provides education for children and young adults from Russian orphanages. It aims to eradicate traditional prejudices against this group by integrating them into society and enabling them to take care of themselves. In 1999 ROOF opened Post-Orphanage Education Centre for young adults who have left orphanage care to finish their education and prepare for college entrance exams. It also arrange employment opportunities.
