The Siberian Civic Initiatives Support Centre (SCISC) is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) established in 1995 in Novosibirsk, Russia to assist democratic development in the region. SCISC is a resource centre network of affiliate organisations in 14 oblates in Siberia. It functions as an information and analysis centre for Siberian civil society; it provides training to NGO leaders, trainers and public officials dealing with civic issues; it offers funding to NGOs; it develops campaigns for raising awareness on citizen participation. SCISC supports civic initiatives aimed at strengthening the collaboration among civil society institutions, and between the non-profit sector and the government and/or business sector.
