The Handicaps Welfare Association (HWA) is a Singapore based charity working to meet the needs of disabled people. HWA aims to foster friendship, understanding and mutual assistance among its members by promoting the welfare, education, training, rehabilitation and employment of those with disabilities. Through the generous donations HWA receives from the public and non-governmental organisations it is able to offer its members a number of educational opportunities through subsidies, scholarships and bursaries.
