The India Vision Foundation is a non-governmental voluntary organisation, the primary focus of which is the welfare of prison inmates and their family members. The Foundation operates within jails, for example building inmate skills in business projects, the profit of which is put into inmate welfare funds, and outside jails, in education and rehabilitation projects for children of prisoners, and in the city slums. For the operation of its education projects, the Foundation accepts gifts in kind of uniforms, clothing, and footwear, stationary and books, toys and educational games, toiletries etc. The Foundation also accepts monetary donations.
