Bookfriends International, NFP is an American NGO that seeks to provide educational resources to secondary school age children in Africa by providing them with text books, library books and reference materials that are in short supply in their local villages. The organisation collects used books from middle and high schools, and also from public libraries.

Bookfriends also accepts private donations of books. The books are stored in a warehouse in Illinois until they can sorted, packed and shipped for waiting students and teachers in Africa. Bookfriends works only with African schools with whom it has a direct relationship in order to ensure that needs are correctly and effectively met.
