Africa Humanitarian Action (AHA) is an African NGO that provides humanitarian assistance to refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs) and local communities across Africa. Its core activities focus on relief and recovery; healthcare; HIV/AIDS; sexual and gender violence prevention and care; advocacy; and capacity development.

To date more than 12 million people affected by crises have benefited from the support of AHA, in 17 different countries.

In the long term AHA plans to develop strategies that provide sustainable responses to Africa’s changing needs.
