JCI (Junior Chamber International) is an NGO with a membership of 200,000 young people aged 18 to 40 in 5,000 communities and 100 countries around the world. JCI members share the belief that in order to create lasting positive change, they must improve themselves and the world around them.

The OAU (Obafemi Awolowo University) chapter in Nigeria is involved in a number of projects including “Educate a Child”; internationalism projects in other parts of Africa; and community development projects focusing on health and the environment.
