Called To Rescue is a non-profit, faith neutral, worldwide organization, based in Vancouver, Washington, dedicated to the rescuing of minor children from sex trafficking, violence, and abuse.
Called to Rescue’s mission is to prevent the abduction of children into the sex trafficking behemoth through training, safe houses, and education, as well as the rescue of those already held prisoner by all means available.
Called to Rescue focuses on three missions:
- Prevention: it is dedicated to prevention through education and training of youth of all ages and their parents.
- Healing: it is dedicated to the child until s/he has experienced healing.
- Awareness: it is dedicated to raise awareness in all communities and particularly those vulnarable to human trafficking
In collaboration with Washington State University Vancouver students, Called to Rescue started a campaign called The Build to Rescue Project, which has the purpose of raising funds for ʺGrammy’s House,ʺ a high security safe-house in Vancouver, WA where girls that have been taken advantage of can rehabilitate. Called to Rescue has also recovered exploited children in other countries.
Thanks to her work and foundation, the founder and director of Called to Rescue, Dr. Cyndi Romine is internationally known and recognized as a specialist in underage sex trafficking and child victimization.
