The Awake For Better Life Organization (ABLO) is a Ugandan NGO established to assist people who have been affected by the impact of the HIV/AIDS pandemic. ABLO focuses on children, especially orphans and other vulnerable children, young people and women, providing assistance including educational support, medical care, and food. ABLO also provides vocational skills training, encourages the development of alternative income generating activities, and sensitises communities to the importance of water and sanitation and hygiene. ABLO also offers counselling services to HIV/AIDS affected groups, and undertakes HIV/AIDS education in schools.
