Rural Development Media and Communication (RUDMEC) is an NGO in Uganda. RUDMEC’s core focus is on the initiation of behaviour change by using media as a change agent to enhance improved livelihoods. RUDMEC is currently involved in promoting the adoption and use of environmental friendly ecological sanitation toilets (ECOSAN) and renewable energy technologies particularly in urban informal areas. The organisation also implementsprojects in gender relations and social justice, advocating for the rights of marginalised communities, including women, young people and people with disabilities. Other projects focus on the environment and health and sanitation and agriculture.
