TAPADO is dedicated to creating self-sufficiency and sustainability of communities through raising funds for supporting Tanzanian women, youths and children impacted by poverty, so that they can develop skills and resources to raise themselves out of poverty and improve their quality of life.
Objectives
(i) To develop innovative initiatives on environmental protection, access to basic education, maternal health and gender.
(ii) To assist in the development of Self Help Groups (SHGs) of farmers including small and marginal farmers, artisans and agricultural labour with special emphasis on women, youth, and other disadvantaged groups for accelerating the pace of rural development.
(iii) To prepare youths and children for participating on social activities for contributing to poverty alleviation
(iv) To develop better collaboration, joint participation, relations and understanding amongst various stakeholders of the rural sector for promoting welfare of the rural masses by eradicating hunger, illiteracy, diseases, poverty and by providing shelter and employment
(v) To facilitate the establishment of community based committees for ensuring social protection of girls, orphans and vulnerable children
(vi) To empower community members on aspects that brings about self confidence and positive thinking.
(vii) To ensure that quality education is accessible to marginalized girls, orphans and vulnerable children
