The Society’s work is to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the sick and pay hospital bills of those who can not pay. They are also actively involved in teaching the poor how to catch fish rather than giving them fish always.
SSVPOCC is also actively involved in obtaining justice through volunteer lawyers for inmates incarcerated unjustly in the Federal prison. After the inmates gain their freedom, they would be engaged in various skill acquisition programs to empower them.
A clinic called Society of St Vincent De Paul Clinic has been set up for volunteer doctors to diagnose and prescribe drugs to the sick poor people free of charge.
