Society for Economic Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Development (SEEED)
is a not-for-profit organization in consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN-ECOSOC), established in 2014, under the CAMA 1990, CAP 59 with Corporate Affairs Commission, in Federation Laws of Nigeria. The organization is committed to the advancement and promotion of entrepreneurship, stimulating dialogue and cooperation on economic issues, enhancing skills, knowledge, and understanding among practitioners in entrepreneurship, and providing a network for individuals and organizations working in various sectors of economic development on local and global levels.
SEEED has an articulated broad mission articulated in the advancement and promotion of economic activities for total well-being, with the vision of being recognized as an institution for the development and empowerment of entrepreneurs and leaders with dynamic and innovative tools that drive national and global economic realization, growth and stability. Consequently, over the years, SEEED has consistently been at the forefront of shaping the theory and practice of entrepreneurship, challenging existing practices and suggesting alternative approaches hence the slogan “Thinking Differently, Changing Lives!”
