Ramses Foundation for Social Development of Roma aims to assist the Roma community in Northwestern Romania achieve a better living standard. The organisation’s activities focus upon reducing Roma unemployment, supporting economic initiatives for the Roma, providing counselling services for mothers and children, stimulating the youth’s civic involvement, building a viable partnership with the local authorities and with the network of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in the region, changing prejudices and neutralising discrimination against the Roma population.
