The Maternal and Child Survival Information, Research and Services Centre (MACHSU Centre)is an initiative of the Medicare Health Professionals College in Uganda. Established as a community-based NGO, the Centre is designed to participate in activities to reduce maternal and child mortality. These activities include providing information and conducting research, training community health workers, health care delivery, and support to women and children, including counselling and treatment. The organisation focuses on three districts in Uganda(Kabale, Luwero and Kampala.
