Waste collection and city cleaning project in Central Africa / Projet de collecte des dechets et de nettoyage des villes en Afrique Centrale.
General information
Overall description
The non-profit project consists in strengthening the waste collection work for all categories (organic, electric, electronic, toxic…) and sewerage for expanding cities whose urbanization and accommodation problems cause to review the norms. The project also consists in promoting sustainable development in the framework of the struggle against poverty, environmental protection and innovation for development projects implementation. The activities are waste water disposal, drain and gutter cleansing, weeding, sewage treatment, rat extermination, disinsectisation, bore-hole, drinking water, bridges, roads in the down areas, slums to demolish to finally rehouse populations, awareness and training of the targeted public in primary and secondary schools and colleges, electronic and electric waste collection in device maintenance companies and workshops, disease limitation (malaria, typhoid, cholera), city building and enhancement, tree planting, lake upkeep…
Here are the goals to reach:
1 To foster technology transfer (clean technologies, biotechnologies, energy technologies)
2 To promote sustainable development through the ICTs (information and communication technologies)
3 To guarantee electric and electronic waste collection and treatment
4 To promote renewable energies in Cameroun (solar energy…)
Le projet à caractère non lucratif, consiste à renforcer plus efficacement le travail de collecte des dechets toute categirie (organique,electrique electronique,toxic,…)et l’assainissement des villes en pleines croissances dont les problèmes d’urbanisation et logements se trouvent à revoir dans les normes.Le projet consiste egalement à la promotion du Developpement durable dans la lutte contre la pauvreté la protection de la nature et l’innovation dans la realisation des projets de developpement.les activités sont la canalisation des eaux, le curage des drains et caniveaux, le desherbage, le traitement des eaux usées,deratisation,desinsectisation,forage,eau potable,ponts routes dans les sous quartiers ,taudis à raser pour enfin recaser les populations,sensibilisation et formation du publics cibles dans les ecoles du primaire du secondaire et du superieur,collecte des dechets electroniques electiques dans les societés et autres ateliers de maintenances des appareils ,lalimitatation des maladies(paludisme,typhoide,cholera),construction et embellissement des villes ,plantation des arbres,entretien des lacs…
Les objectifs sont à atteindre:
1 Encourager le transfert de technologies(clean technologies, biotechnologies,energy technologies)
2 Promouvoir le Developpement Durable à travers les TIC (technologies de l’information et de la communication).
3 Assurer la collecte et le traitement des dechets electrique electronique.
4 Promouvoir les energies renouvelables au Cameroun.energie solaire
Timing
This project has to be reviewed: the first stage is the pilot center in the city of DOUALA, whose building site will probably start next November. 12 months later, another city, Yaoundé, will also experience the project, as well as the 10 cities in Cameroon. Ce projet est à redimentionner la phase première est le Centre Pilote de la ville de DOUALA dont le Chantier demarrera probablement en Novembre prochain..12 mois après une autre ville celle de Yaoundé connaitra aussi le projet et ainsi dans les 10 villes du Cameroon.Partnership types

In a time of green economies, environmental problems are everyone’s business. In order to reach expected goals, partnerships are a necessity. Thus, under the auspices of the Cameroonian Ministry of Environment, through its regional delegate and in partnership with: 1 The district towns of Cameroon’s main cities for their urbanisation plans 2 Sanitation companies for their expertise in urban redevelopment 3 The construction companies for logistics and expertise 4 Insurance companies and health public services 5 Public authorities, legislators (support and security) 6 Medias (radios, TV channels, newspapers…) 7 Sponsors 8 Education institutions, universities… 9 NGOs for trainers’ awareness and training 10 District and block leaders for proximity management of construction works and project assessment 11 Volunteers fond of their country’s cleanliness and development 12 The NEF (National Employment Fund) for a good personnel recruitment 13 Waste treatment companies or units It is worth noting that services rendered are free and we count on volunteers’ recruitment to reach the expected goals. CADIRE developed its project by recruiting high added-valued HSE experts [translator’s note: hygiene, safety, environment] for actions coordination and trainers’ awareness and training. For a transparent management of the project, a journalists’ team has been implemented to guarantee the communication on the improvement. Les problèmes environnementaux à l'heure des economies vertes sont les affaires de tout le monde.Pour atteindre les objectifs escomptés,on doit s'associer à des partenariats.Ainsi sous le haut Patronage du Ministère camerounais de l'environnement par son Delegué regional du Littoral et en Partenariat avec: 1Les Communes d'arrondissement des Villes principales du Cameroun pour leur plans d'urbanisation. 2Les societés d'hygiène et salubrité pour leur expertise dans l'assainissement urbain 3 Les societés de batiment et travaux publics pour la logistique et leur expertise 4 Les societés dassurances et les services publics de la santé. 5 Les Pouvoirs publics,Legislateurs(encadrement et securité 6 Les medias(Radios ,TV,Journaux,...) 7 Les Parains 'Supporters pour le sponsoring 8 Les Etablissements scolaires ,Universités .... 9 Les ONG pourla sensibilisation et la formation des formateurs 10 Les Chefs de quartiers et chefs de blocs pour la gestion de proximité dans les sessions de travaux d(evalution du projet. 11 Les benevoles amoureux de la Propreté et du Developpement de leur Pays. 12 La FNE fonds national de l'emploi pour un bon recrutement dupersonnel 13 Les societés ou unités de traitement des dechets. Il est à noter que les services rendus sont gratuits et nous pensons aux recrutement des benevoles pour atteindre les objectifs escomptés. La CADIRE a muri dans son projet en recrutant les experts HSE à fortes valeurs ajoutées pour la coordination des actions à mener,la sensibilisation et la formation des formation des formateurs.Pour une gestion transparent du Projet ,une équipe de journalistes est mise en place pour assurer la communication sur le Progrès.Type(s) of services / personnel

Organization Structure
The organization is managed and administered by the Executive committee comprising the Executive Director, Advisor and independent Board Members.
Kirc foundation has four paid staffs namely the Executive Director, Accountant, programs Co-ordinator, Deputy Director.
There are also twenty volunteers from churches, organized groups and governmental department who co-opt with kirc foundation on it project in [K.E.E.A] Municipality
Our Aims
1. Promoting free compulsory education ,health and general well being of youth in K.E.E.A Municipality in the Central Region of Ghana
2. To help in the Fight against HIV/AIDS ,TB,and Malaria in the KEEA Municipality in the central region of Ghana
3. To lobby for fund to assist in the provision of basic education and health facilities like school building,ICT laboratory, Health centers ,computer for schools etc.
4. To assist needy pupil in the Municipality with basic necessities in life.
5. To lobby for fund to assist in any form of Developmental project in rural communities in Ghana.
6. Work with similar groups and exchange information and advice with them.
7. Take any action that is lawful, which would help it to fulfill its aims

We are aimed at promotion of a holistic sustainable development focusing on Agricultural development, rural enterprise, environmental conservation, financial development, HIV/AIDS and capacity building including civic education to improve household incomes and general conditions targeting the vulnerable who are ready to work for change.
JEFORD has a team of varied professionals headed by the Executive director and is governed by the General Assembly which delegates its function to the Board of Directors.
We are therefore, seeking parternerhip/support to implement Hoima Municipal Waste management project which has been designed to address the Solid waste disposal which has become a major issue of concern especially as populations increase. The management of solid waste is one of the challenges facing the newly formed Hoima municipal council. Although the municipal authorities do commit funds of municipal revenues on waste management, it is still unable to keep pace with the scope of the problem. Under this proposed project therefore; we aim at: community Sensitization on sustainable waste plastic management, Create community sustainable plastic waste collection business opportunities, and environmental clean-up for improved water and sanitation.

it has a newly established a waste management agency offering solutions
to garbage collection, recycling and trashing of the garbage, mine and explosives awareness. Moreover it is one of waste management Agencies in Banaadir and only waste
management agency that is green oriented sensitizing green
philosophies. Our waste management does not contribute to
environmental degradation but rather manage and reduce waste while
recovering value and resources. SSDC is working in the fields were was
the battle field of the alshaab and TFG, AMISOM troops in Mogadishu
City where we are facing the distracted buildings and the remaining of
the un exploded weapons.
We are therefore, seeking partnership/support to implement Waste management project in Mogadishu which has been designed to address the Solid waste disposal, remnants of war and explosives awareness which has become a major issue of concern especially as returnees increase in Mogadishu.
